The Law Is Everlasting

The Law Has Not Been Abolished
17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:17-20

21 "Not everyone who says to Me,’ Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Matthew 7:21-23

  1. Below are very important message to the world.
  2. I, who has seen the Lord Almighty, face to face, on several occasions, testify that the Old Testament teachings (including laws, statutes and precepts) are as relevant today as they were in the time of Moses. Any person who preaches one thing and does a different thing is not worthy of trust and honour.
  3. The modern world cannot claim that God is perfect, and yet deny the perfect works of God by not following His footsteps.
  4. God is unchangeable. Yet, people are everyday busy changing His laws, statutes and precepts.
  5. Otherwise, people are worshipping what they do not know. They are busy fabricating non-existent gods to their own deceit and detriment.
  6. Jesus knew that at later times people shall give various reasons to change the everlasting laws of God. Therefore, He made it clear that He has neither changed any law nor authorized any person or group to do so.
  7. The Scribes and Pharisees were considered as hypocrites because they were changing the laws of God with their customs and traditions, and were misinterpreting the laws. So, how can the present generations continue to do the same and still claim to be righteous?
2For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
  1. You must not change what God has commanded.
  2. You must not practice your faith so as to be seen and praised by the public.
  3. You should not preach one thing and be doing a different thing.
  4. You should not cling to positions of honour for the sake of honour, to the neglect of Truth.
  5. Your services should be dedicated to the Almighty Father.
"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall." Matthew 7:24-27
